Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Ridgeline Oakley Epoxy Flooring, oakleyepoxyflooringandconcretepolishing.com, support@oakleyepoxyflooringandconcretepolishing.com

Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of the Ridgeline Oakley Epoxy Flooring website and any work you hire us to do. By using this site, asking for an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work through it.

When you sign a written estimate or contract for a specific job, that document controls wherever it differs from these terms, because it's written for your floor and your house.

What we do

We're a flooring contractor in Oakley, CA, and we install and repair concrete floors and coatings. That includes epoxy, polyaspartic and metallic coatings, polished and stained concrete, overlays, sealing, surface prep and coating removal, for homes and businesses in Oakley and the cities around it. You can see the full list of services on our home page and read more about our crew on our About page.

Descriptions on this site are general. Concrete varies from slab to slab, so the scope of your job is the one written in your estimate or contract, not what a web page describes.

Estimates and pricing

We give free in-person estimates with no obligation to hire us. We look at the slab before we price it, because its size, condition, moisture, cracks, old coatings and the system you choose all move the price.

An estimate is based on what we can see and test before work starts. Some problems only show up once the old coating is off or the surface is ground, such as hidden damage, moisture coming up through the slab or patches that won't hold. When that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and give you the cost to address it in writing before we do the extra work.

Prices or examples mentioned anywhere on this site are not an offer. Your price is the one in your written estimate, for as long as that estimate says it stays good.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We set a start date with you once you've approved the estimate. Coatings and sealers need the right temperature and humidity to cure properly, so we may move a date for weather or slab conditions, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to clear the work area before we arrive and to give our crew access to the space, power and water as agreed. You also agree to keep people, pets and vehicles off the floor until we tell you it's ready, because walking or driving on it early can ruin the finish.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (925) 503-1112 as early as you can. If we've already ordered materials made for your job or started work, you may be responsible for those costs, as set out in your written estimate or contract.

Payment

Your estimate or contract sets out how much is due, when it's due and how you can pay. Payment is due on the dates it lists unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made. Any approved changes to the job are added to your final bill at the price we agreed in writing.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We stand behind our work, and we're licensed and insured. Any written guarantee or warranty for your job is the one in your contract, and it applies only to the work we did.

We can't guarantee results that depend on things outside our control. That includes cracks or movement in the slab itself, moisture or water from below, damage from chemicals, hot tires, heavy impacts or dragging equipment, using the floor before it has cured, and cleaning or care that goes against the instructions we or the coating maker give you. Concrete also varies in color and texture, so stained, polished and metallic floors won't match a sample exactly.

Outside of any written guarantee in your contract, and as far as California law allows, we make no other promises about our work or this website, stated or implied.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, Ridgeline Oakley Epoxy Flooring is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business, lost use of a space or the cost of storing your belongings while we work. Our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

These limits don't apply where California law doesn't allow them, such as for harm caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Using this website

The information on this site is general and meant to help you understand the work. It isn't professional advice for your specific floor, and we may update it at any time. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete or current.

Some links may lead to other websites, such as a city office or a product maker. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what they say.

Resolving a disagreement

If something isn't right, tell us first. Most problems get fixed fastest with a phone call and a visit, so reach us through our Contact page or at (925) 503-1112, and we'll work with you in good faith to sort it out.

If we can't settle it between us within a reasonable time, either of us may suggest mediation before going to court. Any lawsuit will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Contra Costa County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.

Governing law

These terms, and any job we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted here is the one in effect. Changes won't apply to a job you've already signed for unless we both agree in writing.

If you have a question about these terms, call us at (925) 503-1112 or send us a note through our Contact page. Our hours are Mon–Fri: 8 AM–10 PM, Sat–Sun: 6 AM–9 PM, and we respond within 1 business day.
